Maintenance Guide
Use this guide to prolong the life of your bowling ball.
FACTORY DULL BALLS
Every time you finish bowling use an oil free mircofiber towel combine with a ball cleaner.
Every 15 – 20 games lightly sand the entire surface of the ball with abralon pads. Use the appropriate grit to maintain the balls original reaction.
Every 60 games use abralon pads to resurface your ball. Start with 500 grit, then 1000 grit, 2000 grit, and 4000 grit ending on the final surface texture you are targeting.
Every 100 games your ball is due for a revivor oil extraction treatment. You may also need a full resurface, at the time, to eliminate surface wear.
Factory Polished Balls
Clean daily after bowling. Use an oil free mircofiber towel combined with a ball cleaner.
Every 10 games polish the surface of the ball usingn a cotton towel and a recommended polish.
Every 30 games lightly sand the surface of the ball with a 4000 grit abralon pad and re-polish using a recommended polish.
Every 60 games use abralon pads to resurface your ball. Start with 500 grit, 1000 grit, 2000 grit then 4000 grit ending on the desired surface texture you are targeting.
Every 100 games the ball is due for a revivor oil extraction treatment.
Ball Restoration
For older bowling balls that have not been maintained it is recommended that you treat the ball using a revivor oil extraction treatment and a full resurface. This will help to bring life back to the bowling ball.
